Free online training for health professionals
Research teams from the universities of Oxford, Southampton and Exeter have developed a range of online courses for health professionals on various evidence-based physio programmes.
The courses are freely accessible for eight months, and free training certificates for GRASP and SARAH courses are available for a limited time. Materials to use with patients are also free to download.
Vocational rehab roadmap for Long Covid
The LOCOMOTION (LOng COvid Multidisciplinary consortium: Optimising Treatments and services across the NHS) study has produced a new resource - ‘Vocational rehabilitation for Long Covid: a roadmap for recovery’. The guidance is aimed at health professionals who support people with Long Covid to return to work.
Paediatric spinal manipulation and mobilisation
The International Federation of Orthopaedic Manipulative Physical Therapists Incorporated and the International Organisation of Physiotherapy in Paediatrics have released a policy brief, providing evidence-based statements on the role of spinal manipulation and mobilisation techniques in the treatment of children and adolescents.
